Meditation for Dummies

Ok, you're NOT dumb - I know that, and so does Stephan Bodian, the author - but meditation has gotten both a bad and a confusing rap over time that most of us feel dumb about the subject.

In not quite 400 pages, Bodian takes a lot of the mystery and myth out of this ancient practice PLUS he gives good, solid instruction on how to start, what to expect, and what not to expect. He keeps it simple and easy.

Amazon reader reviewers give it top marks, including those who have practiced meditation for years. I must say I agree.

Yes, in some ways it's almost an over simplification, at least at first glance - but simplifying and demystifying is exactly what's needed, for beginners and, often for experts as well. And when you look a little deeper, re-read a chapter or a paragraph, you'll find there's way more true depth than the title or a quick reading will give you.

Meditation is recommended by all 12 Step Programs, but they don't do a great job telling you how to do it - this book does and will go along way toward helping you become Powerfully Recovered.

I'm giving it 5 coffee cups and a big MUST HAVE!
