Lemon makes a great drunk, Lee Remick as his wife makes a case for
Al-anon. Some wonderful scenes of AA meetings.

version with Lemon and Remick, even more AA meetings.

Weekend - shocking in 1945, this classic still has real power as
Ray Milland states "I'm not a drinker--I'm a drunk." Showing how
alcoholism can spin you from fun to bedlam, it's not surprising this one
won four Oscars.
